Dedusting solutions for chemicals & detergents industry
Designing de-dusting installations in the chemical industry requires experience and knowledge of material attributes in order to manage them in the appropriate way.
Cases to be examined:
- Type of dust (acid or basic) and also the ability to create an acid environment with humidity present.
- Possibility to create an explosive environment inside the filter (We must be familiar with the type of the material and the possibility to explode, the category that it belongs to, the required ignition energy, and finally the expected pressure for explosion.)
- The possibility of humidity absorption by the dust, so the proper filter must be selected in order to form correctly the dust exhaust system and avoid frequent malfunctions
- Some toxic attributes of dust in order to select a filter with the appropriate specifications.
