Industrial cyclones
Industrial cyclones are a cost-effective and efficient solution for the preliminary removal of particles from air streams.
Although this technology alone cannot meet today’s strict emission standards, cyclones remain an essential component of many air filtration systems. They effectively remove over 90% of larger particles (<20 μm) at low cost, reducing dust load on downstream bag filters and extending filter bag life.
Cyclones are also necessary in systems requiring:
- Gas cooling before filtration, or
- Removal of hot or glowing particles that could damage downstream filters.
